Of angel wings and dreaming things

A friend’s facebook status made me laugh today:

I need a sheep costume for my son. Everywhere is sold out.  Just spent half hour on phone to a stupid woman who was looking for a shepherd costume, I SAID SHEEP.

It’s that time of year when we’re all dressing our littlies up for parties and nativity plays. The little boys always look slightly down at the mouth with those towels around their heads (kept on with Dad’s favourite tie) but little girls are flittering here and there with angel wings and glitter. If only I could hear the thoughts inside their heads as they imagine…I wonder what angel worlds they would take me to…

Watching as their imagination is stimulated just by a pair of toy angel wings or a cowboy hat, I decided to stop in for bits and pieces from my local charity shop for a dress up play date with the children at a local children’s shelter. Cup of tea, Queen Elizabeth?
